The LBTEK Reference Gas Cell encapsulates specific gases at controlled pressures within a sealed metal housing. When light passes through the cell, distinct absorption peaks corresponding to the gas absorption wavelengths appear in the transmission spectrum.
Renowned for its high absorption efficiency, low insertion loss, and excellent reliability, this gas cell is widely used for wavelength calibration and absolute wavelength referencing. Both input and output ports use single-mode fibers, available with FC/PC or FC/APC connectors, ensuring easy integration into fiber-optic systems.
The cell is commonly applied in spectral analysis, gas sensing, and gas concentration measurement. Note: The operating wavelengths correspond to the absorption lines of methane and acetylene gases, as defined in the U.S. HITRAN database.
