The LBTEK Cosine Corrector is optimized for the 200–1100 nm spectral range. Its diffuser element is made of PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), providing excellent diffusion performance with high transmittance and collection efficiency within this wavelength range.
The cosine diffuser can collect light within a 180° solid angle relative to a diffuse surface, reducing the alignment sensitivity of the light source and simplifying spectral measurement procedures.
The input end features a smooth cylindrical housing for convenient clamp mounting, while the output end is equipped with a standard SMA905 connector, allowing direct fiber connection to a spectrometer or other optical measurement devices.
