Overhead Shelf for SWD/SWA Science Workstations
The overhead shelf features hinged locking clamps for quick installation and removal. It is compatible with SWD0609, SWA0609, SWD0912, and SWA0912 science workstations, and provides a uniform load capacity of 50 kg.
The assembly consists of two hinged aluminum alloy clamps, two stainless-steel support rods (Ø38 mm × 750 mm, included with SW-HT09 and SW-HT12 models), and a high-strength wooden panel. The support rods are mounted directly onto the workstation, and the panel is attached via the hinged clamps. The shelf is available in two models, sized to fit either SWD0609/SWA0609 or SWD0912/SWA0912 workstations.
The shelf height can be adjusted as needed; once the desired height is set, the hinged clamps can be tightened with a wrench to secure the panel. When properly installed, the shelf can evenly support up to 50 kg, making it suitable for placing various instruments and accessories. If you prefer to use 1000 mm mounting rods (SW-EB100) instead of the included 750 mm rods, they can be purchased separately from the LBTEK website.
This workstation is compatible with a wide range of accessories, such as monitor mounts, keyboard trays, and shelves. Users can build a modular, ergonomic workspace by adding storage bins, lights, and computer peripherals to suit their experimental needs.
