LBTEK’s standard honeycomb optical breadboards are designed as portable platforms with a full-steel construction, offering excellent thermal stability. The honeycomb core is bonded, resulting in lower residual stress, enhanced damping performance, and improved overall stability. The high-permeability stainless steel top surface is flat and suitable for building optical systems. Its matte dimpled finish reduces surface reflections and minimizes interference with optical setups.
The honeycomb breadboard has a total thickness of 50 mm, with a 5 mm thick stainless steel top plate. The top surface features a standard M6 single-sided threaded through-hole array with 25 mm spacing, and the outermost hole centers are positioned 37.5 mm from the edge, allowing convenient component mounting. The baseplate is equipped with four standard M6 single-sided threaded through holes, symmetrically distributed 62.5 mm from the edges, enabling secure installation and fixation of the honeycomb breadboard.
