LBTEK offers a series of air-float pendulum-rod vibration-isolation optical tables. The tabletop is composed of a high-magnetic-permeability stainless-steel top plate, an isolation cup layer, a central honeycomb core, and a bottom steel plate. This structure effectively prevents liquids and contaminants from penetrating into the honeycomb core and suppresses airflow between threaded holes, maintaining cleanliness and sealing performance. The tabletop undergoes precision machining and a matte stippled finish, achieving a flatness of 0.05–0.10 mm per 600 × 600 mm area and a surface roughness of 0.8 μm.
Beneath the tabletop is the air-float pendulum-rod isolation system. The support legs use an independent round-leg design that avoids overall resonance, with four- or six-leg configurations available depending on the tabletop size. The isolation system integrates two core technologies: air-float suspension and pendulum-rod vibration isolation. The air-float system employs a dual-chamber air spring design, where high-pressure air forms a stable air cushion between the base of the platform and the support chamber, enabling contactless support and effectively isolating floor vibrations. The compressed air inside the rubber airbag serves as the primary damping medium, while the dual-chamber design (mixing chamber plus auxiliary chamber) further reduces vertical stiffness. Micron-scale throttling orifices provide laminar damping, allowing the system to quickly and effectively absorb vibration energy and minimize transmission when disturbed.
The pendulum-rod isolation system employs a precisely engineered three-wire pendulum mechanism to achieve extremely low natural frequencies in the horizontal direction, blocking the transmission of high-frequency vibrations. In addition, the entire isolation system is equipped with an advanced pneumatic control system, with all pneumatic components sourced from reputable manufacturers to ensure reliable operation and long-term durability.
LBTEK provides high-precision air-float pendulum-rod vibration-isolation optical tables, supplied as standard with a low-noise air compressor. The tabletop is made of a 5 mm thick magnetic stainless-steel plate, precision machined and finished with a matte stippled surface to achieve a flatness of 0.05–0.10 mm per 600 × 600 mm area and a surface roughness of 0.8 μm. The tabletop thickness is available in 200 mm or 300 mm, with M6 threaded holes spaced at 25 mm intervals and with a 25 mm depth. LBTEK offers optical tables in sizes ranging from 1200 mm × 800 mm to 3000 mm × 1500 mm.
