CM-3 features SM1-threaded through holes on the sides, which can be sealed with SM1-C2 protective caps to protect optical components and prevent dust or stray light from entering. The side M3-threaded holes allow connection to Ø6 mm coaxial rods, and the bottom M4-threaded hole allows mounting on optical rods. Product information can be written in pencil on the white top panel for easy identification.
Important: Use the dedicated hex key provided by LBTEK to tighten the four black hex socket countersunk screws. Using other tools, especially ball-end hex keys, may strip the hex socket. Hold the internal part steady while tightening — excessive force is unnecessary. It is also recommended to regularly replace these screws (specification: M2.5×6 countersunk hex socket screws).
