LBTEK lens tubes are commonly used to mount Ø50.8 mm optical elements or to block stray light in optical paths, preventing ambient light from affecting the system. LBTEK’s SM2 lens tubes are available in three versions: dual-end internal and external threads (SM2-xxA), internal threads (SM2-xxB), and external threads (SM2-xxC). Lens tubes can be connected together to extend the length, making it easy to quickly build compact optical systems. Retaining rings can be positioned at the desired location inside the lens tube using a spanner wrench to separate and secure optical elements.
In addition to standard SM2 lens tubes, LBTEK also offers SM05 and SM1 lens tubes, along with matching accessories such as lens tube adapters, retaining rings, and spanner wrenches.
LBTEK’s internally threaded lens tube features SM2 internal threads on both ends, allowing Ø50.8 mm optical elements to be mounted or removed from either side. To stack multiple lens tubes, it can be used together with SM2-25C or SM2-12.5T. Each lens tube comes with two SM2R retaining rings for securing the optical elements in place.
