LBTEK lens tubes are commonly used to mount Ø50.8 mm optical elements or to block stray light in optical paths, preventing ambient light from affecting the system. LBTEK’s SM2 lens tubes are available in three versions: dual-end internal and external threads (SM2-xxA), internal threads (SM2-xxB), and external threads (SM2-xxC). Lens tubes can be connected together to extend the length, making it easy to quickly build compact optical systems. Retaining rings can be positioned at the desired location inside the lens tube using a spanner wrench to separate and secure optical elements.
In addition to standard SM2 lens tubes, LBTEK also offers SM05 and SM1 lens tubes, along with matching accessories such as lens tube adapters, retaining rings, and spanner wrenches.
LBTEK’s dual-threaded lens tube features an SM2 external thread on one end and an SM2 internal thread on the other, primarily used for mounting Ø50.8 mm optical elements. Its stackable design makes it ideal for quickly building compact optical systems. Each lens tube comes with one SM2R retaining ring for securing the optical element.
