LBTEK lens tubes are commonly used to mount Ø25.4 mm optical elements or to block stray light in optical paths, preventing ambient light from affecting the system. LBTEK’s SM1 lens tubes are available in three versions: dual-end internal and external threads (SM1-xxA, SM1-xxD), internal threads (SM1-xxB), and external threads (SM1-xxC). Lens tubes can be connected together to extend the length, making it easy to quickly build compact optical systems. Retaining rings can be positioned at the desired location inside the lens tube using a spanner wrench to separate and secure optical elements.
In addition to standard SM1 lens tubes, LBTEK also offers SM05 and SM2 lens tubes, along with matching accessories such as lens tube adapters, retaining rings, and spanner wrenches.
LBTEK’s internally threaded lens tube features SM1 internal threads on both ends, allowing Ø25.4 mm optical elements to be mounted or removed from either side. It can be combined with SM1-xxA, SM1-25C, or SM1-12.5T to extend the overall lens tube length. Each lens tube comes with two SM1R retaining rings for securing the optical elements.
