LBTEK lens tubes are commonly used to mount Ø25.4 mm optical elements or to block stray light in optical paths, preventing ambient light from affecting the system. LBTEK’s SM1 lens tubes are available in three versions: dual-end internal and external threads (SM1-xxA, SM1-xxD), internal threads (SM1-xxB), and external threads (SM1-xxC). Lens tubes can be connected together to extend the length, making it easy to quickly build compact optical systems. Retaining rings can be positioned at the desired location inside the lens tube using a spanner wrench to separate and secure optical elements.
In addition to standard SM1 lens tubes, LBTEK also offers SM05 and SM2 lens tubes, along with matching accessories such as lens tube adapters, retaining rings, and spanner wrenches.
LBTEK’s dual-threaded lens tube features an SM1 external thread on one end and an SM1 internal thread on the other, primarily used for mounting Ø25.4 mm optical elements. Its extendable design is ideal for quickly building compact optical systems. Each lens tube comes with one SM1R retaining ring for securing the optical element. The SM1-8V version includes a 12.5 mm external thread and an additional external retaining ring, allowing adjustable connection depth between lens tubes. The SM1-50D version features an external slot, enabling adjustment of the lens position through the slot without removing the retaining ring; once adjusted, rotating the outer sleeve can cover the slot to block stray light.
