LBTEK’s SM05 lens tubes are commonly used to mount Ø12.7 mm optical elements or to block stray light in optical paths, preventing ambient light from affecting the system. They are available in three versions: dual-end internal and external threads (SM05-xxA), internal threads (SM05-xxB), and external threads (SM05-xxC). Lens tubes can be connected together to extend the length, making it easy to quickly build compact optical systems. Retaining rings can be positioned at the desired location inside the lens tube using a spanner wrench to separate and secure optical elements.
In addition to standard SM05 lens tubes, LBTEK also offers SM1 and SM2 lens tubes, as well as a full range of matching accessories, including lens tube adapters, retaining rings, and spanner wrenches.
LBTEK’s internally threaded lens tube features SM05 internal threads on both ends, allowing Ø12.7 mm optical elements to be mounted with retaining rings on either side. It can be combined with SM05-xxA, SM05-25C, or SM05-12.5T to extend the overall length. Each lens tube comes with two SM05R retaining rings for securing the optical elements.
