LBTEK’s magnetic quick-release cube is compatible with 30 mm coaxial systems and can be supplied with separate cube inserts for switching the transmission beam path to left or right. Three types of quick-release mounts are available for installing optical elements: rectangular plates, right-angle prisms, and beam splitter cubes. All three mounts share the same MCM1-B base, differing only in the central cube insert structure. The cube insert is inserted in a single direction relative to the base by means of angled mating surfaces. The base features three M6-threaded holes spaced 25 mm apart for connection with posts.
LBTEK offers the MCM1BLR 30 mm Coaxial Magnetic Quick-Release Cube, designed for mounting right-angle prisms. The cube insert allows installation of two Ø25.4 mm optical elements in the two directions marked with arrows on the top plate, secured with retaining rings. The insert has magnets at the bottom for quick detachment. The optical element mounting position inside the insert is padded with foam to prevent damage and supports right-angle prisms with 25 mm or 25.4 mm side length. The central cube insert is sold separately, and the base is MCM1-B. Left- and right-handed versions are available: for MCM1BL (left-handed), the side marked “P” on the top plate is aligned with the chamfered groove of the MCM1-B base for mounting and removal; for MCM1BR (right-handed), the chamfered edge of the frame itself is aligned with the chamfered groove of the MCM1-B base.
