LBTEK’s magnetic quick-release cube is compatible with 30 mm coaxial systems and can be supplied with separate cube inserts for switching the transmission beam path to left or right. Three types of quick-release mounts are available for installing optical elements: rectangular plates, right-angle prisms, and beam splitter cubes. All three mounts share the same MCM1-B base, differing only in the central cube insert structure. The cube insert is inserted in a single direction relative to the base by means of angled mating surfaces. The base features three M6-threaded holes spaced 25 mm apart for connection with posts.
LBTEK offers magnetic quick-release cubes suitable for fluorescence filter assemblies. The cube insert allows installation of four Ø25.4 mm optical elements on its four sides using retaining rings. Inside the insert, a magnetic detachable 45° rectangular mount is included, secured by a spring-loaded mechanism and a single screw that simultaneously releases the spring when loosened. The MCM1 model has a central clamping size of 36 mm × 25 mm × 1 mm and supports optical elements up to 6 mm thick at the 3°-tilted side edge. The MCM1S model has a central clamping size of 36 mm × 25 mm × 2 mm and supports optical elements up to 4.5 mm thick at the 3°-tilted side edge. One output port of the cube insert is tilted at 3° relative to the surface to minimize unwanted reflections and is marked EM2.
