LBTEK Z-axis translation mounts provide precise optical positioning along the beam axis. They offer repeatable Z-axis travel, ideal for fiber alignment or compensating focus errors in spatial filtering applications within cage systems. The translation ring features SM1 (1.035"-40) internal threads, and movement is driven by a precision micrometer head with 1 µm graduations and a clear travel range scale. The micrometer can be adjusted using the knurled knob or a 2 mm hex key. Two SM1R retaining rings are included for securing Ø1″ (25.4 mm) optics up to 7.2 mm thick. The MFT model is compatible with 30 mm cage systems and includes M4 threaded holes for free-space mounting, while the MFP model provides both M4 and M6 threads for versatile free-space integration.
LBTEK Z-axis translation mounts use a flexure mechanism to provide repeatable Z-axis travel, ideal for compensating focus errors in applications such as fiber alignment and spatial filtering. The precision micrometer drive offers 1 µm graduations and provides 2 mm of Z-axis travel. The lens carriage features SM1 (1.035"-40) internal threads, and two included SM1R retaining rings secure Ø1″ optics up to 7.2 mm thick. For thicker optics, SM1 lens tubes can be used for proper installation. The micrometer can be adjusted via the knurled knob or a 2 mm hex key. When mounted from the bottom, the optical axis is 50 mm above the top of the post; when mounted from the side, the axis height is 17.1 mm. The base includes three M4 and two M6 threaded holes, while the side has two M4 threaded holes, allowing flexible mounting on Ø12.7 mm, Ø25 mm, or Ø38 mm posts.
