The LBTEK free-space filter wheel features a dual-wheel design, with each wheel containing 6 mounting slots, for a total of 12 slots. The inner walls of the slots are SM1 threaded, allowing installation of Ø25.4 mm optical elements, secured with 12 included SM1R retaining rings. Each wheel can rotate freely around its axis and is precisely indexed at 12 positions using angled grooves and steel balls in the base. The two wheels can be accurately aligned through positioning grooves, enabling the optical centers of all 12 filters to be precisely matched. This design ensures simple adjustment and convenient operation. The base includes one M6 and two M4 threaded mounting holes, making it compatible with standard opto-mechanical components.
The LBTEK free-space filter wheel is designed for mounting Ø25.4 mm optical elements and comes with 12 SM1R retaining rings. The wheel supports a minimum rotation step of 30° and allows full 360° rotation. The base of the filter wheel includes two M4 threaded mounting holes and one M6 threaded mounting hole, enabling direct support with LBTEK stainless steel optical posts or secure mounting onto breadboards and optical tables using LBTEK bases (such as the PB-X series).
