LBTEK Miniature Optical Mount is well-suited for integration into products as well as standalone use in laboratories. It employs ultra-hard spring steel springs to provide enhanced long-term stability. The mount is equipped with two M3×0.25 precision adjusters, offering an angular adjustment range of ±4°. A unique locking mechanism directly pressing against the adjustment screw ensures excellent long-term stability with minimal drift during the locking process. Sapphire pads are used as contact surfaces for the 440C stainless steel balls of the screw pair, reducing friction and ensuring durability.
LBTEK Miniature Optical Mount is designed for Ø12.7 mm optical elements with an optical axis height of 15.9 mm. The base includes countersunk holes for M2 screws, allowing secure installation. Optical elements are held in place using dual clamping with a nylon-tipped screw and a retaining ring, providing excellent vibration resistance and stability. The mount supports optics with a minimum thickness of 1.5 mm. The nylon-tipped screw is M2 and adjustable with a 0.9 mm hex wrench, while the retaining ring is secured by two M1.6 socket head cap screws, adjustable with a 1.5 mm hex wrench.
The mount is equipped with two M3×0.25 precision adjusters, providing ±4° pitch and yaw adjustment with a resolution of 0.112° per turn. The adjusters are knobless and can be operated with either a 1.5 mm hex wrench or the knob-handled hex wrench HWS-1.5. Each purchase of the LBTEK Standard O-Type Optical Mount includes one knob-handled HWS-1.5 hex wrench, one 0.9 mm hex wrench, and four M2 socket head cap screws.
