LBTEK offers two models, UAMM-2A and UAMM-4A, of full-angle universal reflection mounts that adopt a gimbal-style design, enabling 360° pitch and yaw adjustment. They feature both coarse and fine adjustment modes: after performing a 360° coarse adjustment of the optical element position in pitch/yaw directions and locking it, precision screw adjusters allow fine tuning, thereby achieving universal adjustment. The mounts can accommodate optical elements with diameters of Ø25.4 mm, Ø50.8 mm, Ø76.2 mm, and Ø101.6 mm.
The 605-2 universal adjustment mount provides ultra-stable positioning for optical elements up to 2 inches (50.8 mm) in diameter. The gimbal pivots through 360°, with hex-head setscrews providing coarse locking for each axis. Standard AJS micrometer screws offer ±5° of high-resolution fine adjustment and are equipped with tamper-resistant locking screws. The pivot uses preloaded radial ball bearings with zero play and is spring-loaded to eliminate backlash. An adapter ensures optical element registration on the gimbal. These mounts feature a highly convenient kinematic design, accommodating optical elements of various thicknesses. A spring-loaded retaining clamp with a finger grip secures the optics, while three polished steel balls provide kinematic alignment of the gimbal.
