LBTEK Polymer Ring-Shaping DOE is fabricated using a UVFS window substrate and liquid crystal polymer (LCP) material, forming a sandwich structure of “glass substrates with an intermediate LCP functional layer.” Within the LCP layer, the fast axis of the liquid crystal molecules is radially aligned and continuously varied in the azimuthal direction, resulting in a uniform λ/2 retardation across the entire device plane.
Special phase optimization and material enhancement have been applied for industrial applications. The DOE supports custom point–ring energy distribution designs and offers advantages of high efficiency, operational simplicity, high laser damage threshold, excellent thermal stability, and wide acceptance angle. LBTEK provides standard polymer ring-shaping DOEs with design wavelengths of 532 nm and 1064 nm (operational wavelength ranges of 515–540 nm and 1030–1080 nm, respectively), and ring orders m = 1, 2, 4. Flexible customization of parameters and specifications is also available.
LBTEK m=1 Polymer Ring-Shaping DOE is designed for incident beam sizes ranging from Ø1.0 mm to Ø21.5 mm, with a conversion efficiency of ≥99.5%. A smaller selected ring order m corresponds to a smaller central hole size of the ring-shaped beam. Special phase optimization and material enhancement have been implemented for industrial applications. The DOE is available with design wavelengths of 532 nm and 1064 nm, corresponding to operational wavelength ranges of 515–540 nm and 1030–1080 nm, respectively. The product side is marked with the 0° fast axis for alignment reference.
