LBTEK compact deuterium-tungsten light sources adopt a high-frequency driven electrodeless discharge lamp (EDL), featuring compact size, low power consumption, and long service life. The integrated module includes a deuterium lamp, tungsten lamp, shutter, and optical system.
The operating spectral range is 185–2500 nm, with the deuterium lamp covering 185–400 nm and the tungsten lamp covering 400–2500 nm. Each lamp can also function independently as a light source.
The output interface uses an SMA905 connector for efficient coupling. When powered by 12 V / 0.6 A DC, a green LED indicator lights up, and a warm-up time of 25 minutes is required. To minimize wear from frequent switching, it is recommended to use the built-in shutter to control on/off operation after warm-up.
Additionally, the deuterium-tungsten lamp supports external triggering, with independent TTL signal control available for the deuterium lamp, tungsten lamp, and shutter.
