Application: Light source for high-precision analytical instruments
LBTEK deuterium lamps emit a continuous spectrum covering the ultraviolet region (160–400 nm) and the visible region (400–800 nm). This makes them ideal as high-precision light sources for analytical instruments such as liquid chromatography systems and spectral analyzers.
For optimal performance, deuterium lamps can be paired with the XSR600-1 UV-resistant quartz fiber. Since standard quartz fibers absorb strongly below 300 nm, a UV-pretreated quartz fiber is recommended when operating in this wavelength range to ensure maximum efficiency.
