LBTEK Airy Beam Converter (AB) is a two-dimensional, first-order device fabricated from liquid crystal polymer (LCP) material and an N-BK7 window. It features a “front and rear glass substrates + central LCP functional layer” sandwich structure, supplied without housing and with a 1.5 mm cut edge on one side. Within the LCP layer, the molecules are arranged to form a cubic phase distribution, providing a uniform λ/2 retardation across the entire device plane, making it a single-wavelength component.
The Airy Beam Converter is polarization-dependent and can transform a Gaussian beam into an Airy beam with unique properties of transverse self-acceleration, self-healing, and non-diffraction. These characteristics make it highly suitable for applications in particle manipulation, material processing, microscopic imaging, and optical detection. LBTEK offers a standard Airy Beam Converter with a design wavelength of 633 nm, and also supports flexible customization of specifications and parameters.
The LBTEK two-dimensional first-order Airy Beam Converter operates at a wavelength of 633 nm and is coated with a 400–700 nm antireflection layer, ensuring transmission above 98%. It features a 1.5 mm wide cut edge on one side, aligned parallel to the edge of the clear aperture, serving as a marker for the geometric orientation of the output beam. The device has a clear aperture of 10 × 10 mm.
