Application: Suitable for high-power use
The LBTEK high-power laser line variable polarizing beamsplitter integrates a quartz air-spaced half-wave plate (mounted in an RM05 rotation mount) with a high-power laser line polarizing beamsplitter cube (mounted in a 30 mm cage cube).
A top index mark indicates the beam path. The fast axis of the half-wave plate is preset and aligned with the 0° index mark on the rotation mount and locked in place so that the incident polarization remains unchanged. By loosening the lock with the included spanner wrench, the half-wave plate can be smoothly rotated, enabling continuous adjustment of the transmitted intensity of linearly polarized light.
