LBTEK edge filters use Borofloat 33 substrates with one side coated with a filter layer. The arrow indicates the coated surface, which is recommended as the incident side. These filters allow certain wavelengths to transmit while suppressing others. LBTEK edge filters provide transmission >85% in the passband range and an optical density >OD 2 in the stopband range. They are available with a diameter of 25.4 mm and selectable wavelengths from 600 nm to 950 nm.
LBTEK shortpass filters transmit light with wavelengths shorter than the cut-on (cutoff) wavelength, achieving transmission greater than 85%. They effectively block longer wavelengths, with an optical density up to OD 2, corresponding to a transmission of less than 1%.
