LBTEK premium edge filters use UV-grade fused silica substrates, with one side coated with the filter layer and the other side coated with an anti-reflection layer. Light propagates in the direction indicated by the arrow, allowing certain wavelengths to transmit while blocking others, offering high transmission and strong blocking performance. In the passband range, LBTEK premium edge filters provide transmission >85%, while in the stopband range the optical density OD(avg) exceeds 5. The premium edge filters are pre-mounted in Ø25.4 mm black anodized aluminum rings for convenient installation and use.
LBTEK premium shortpass filters transmit light below the cut-on (cutoff) wavelength. One side is coated with a filter layer and the other side with an anti-reflection layer. They feature high transmission for wavelengths shorter than the cut-on point, while effectively blocking longer wavelengths. The average optical density in the stopband reaches OD 5, corresponding to a transmission of less than 0.001%. The premium edge filters are pre-mounted in black anodized aluminum rings, with the housing engraved with an arrow to indicate the light propagation direction for convenient installation and use.
