LBTEK neutral density filter wheels, designed for 30 mm coaxial systems, use UV-grade fused silica substrates with metallic (chromium-nickel-iron alloy) coatings. They are available in two types: continuous and step. The continuous neutral density filters offer OD ranges of 0.04–2.0, 0.04–4.0, or 0.04–6.0, while the step neutral density filters provide OD ranges of 0.04–1.0 or 0.04–3.0. Each filter has a diameter of 50 mm and is mounted on a rotating lever arm for easy insertion or removal from the optical path. The filter wheel is equipped with 30 mm coaxial mounting plates on both sides, featuring SM1 internal-threaded ports and four through holes, enabling seamless integration into coaxial systems. In addition, the base includes an M4 threaded hole for mounting onto the 12.7 mm post series and related accessories.
LBTEK continuous neutral density filter wheels, designed for 30 mm coaxial systems, are precisely engineered to minimize the impact on the clear aperture of the optical element. The side with the scale is the coated surface, and for optimal performance, it is recommended that light enter from this side. The design is fully compatible with SM1 lens sleeves and 30 mm coaxial systems. In addition, the base of the coaxial plate features an M4 threaded hole for mounting onto our 12.7 mm post series and related accessories.
