Metal-coated mirrors are highly suitable for beam deflection in broadband light sources, offering high reflectance across a wide spectral range. LBTEK provides gold-coated flat mirrors with both protective and non-protective layers, available in circular and rectangular shapes.
Gold-coated mirrors with a protective layer are coated with a layer of silicon dioxide to isolate the metal coating from direct contact with external elements, preventing scratches that could affect optical performance. Non-protective gold-coated mirrors offer higher reflectance compared to the protective-coated ones but are more fragile and prone to surface scratches.
LBTEK offers Ø12.7 mm, Ø25.4 mm, and Ø50.8 mm gold-coated metallic flat mirrors. Metallic-coated mirrors are highly suitable for beam deflection in broadband light sources, providing high reflectance across a wide spectral range.
