LBTEK true zero-order six-segment waveplates are made from an N-BK7 window and liquid crystal polymer (LCP) material, forming a typical sandwich structure. The liquid crystal molecules in the LCP layer are oriented along the fast axis in six 60° angular segments, with the fast axis angles in each segment arranged counterclockwise as 0°, -60°, 60°, 0°, -60°, and 60°. The liquid crystal molecules in each segment are aligned consistently, and the device provides the same λ/2 retardation across the entire plane, making it a single-wavelength device.
LBTEK true zero-order six-segment half-wave plates can alter the polarization direction of incident linearly polarized light in different areas, making them ideal for generating structured light used in applications such as structured light illumination. LBTEK offers standard true zero-order six-segment waveplates with working wavelengths of 488 nm, 532 nm, and 633 nm, installed in standard SM1 lens tubes. The tube is marked with the 60° fast axis segments, product model, and specification details, making it easy for customers to identify and use.
LBTEK true zero-order six-segment waveplates are made on an N-BK7 window substrate with a double-layer design, providing the same phase delay (λ/2) across the entire clear aperture for the working wavelength. The true zero-order six-segment waveplate is installed in a black anodized standard SM1 tube. The tube is engraved with the product model and specification details, and the end face features a vertical line and a dot. The vertical line marks the boundary between the 60° fast axis and -60° fast axis regions, while the dot indicates the area corresponding to the 60° fast axis. Analyzing counterclockwise, starting from the area indicated by the dot, the fast axis angle between adjacent sectors is 30°, 30°, 120°, 30°, 30°, and 120° respectively.
