LBTEK 45° Beamsplitter Compensation Plates are optical windows designed to compensate for phase differences between beams. They are typically used together with beamsplitters of the same substrate material and thickness, ensuring that all beams pass through identical substrate thickness. This reduces phase differences between different beam paths, leading to more accurate and reliable experimental results. For different wavelength ranges, the substrate materials of the compensation plates are chosen for their low refractive index, high homogeneity, and low thermal expansion coefficient.
LBTEK currently offers 45° beamsplitter compensation plates made from UV fused silica, suitable for the 250–450 nm range, and available in two size options: circular (1 inch) and rectangular (25 mm × 36 mm). With excellent performance, LBTEK compensation plates provide efficient phase difference elimination between beams. In addition, LBTEK offers a wide range of customization services, including alternative materials, operating wavelengths, and different sizes and thicknesses. LBTEK 45° Beamsplitter Compensation Plates are optical windows designed to compensate for phase differences caused by beams passing through different substrate thicknesses. Unlike conventional windows with a 0° incidence design, these compensation plates are optimized for a 45° angle of incidence and are therefore typically used in conjunction with beamsplitters.
