The LBTEK precision 100 mm dovetail optical rail is designed for building highly stable and rigid laboratory systems. Used together with snap-in dovetail sliders, mounted optical and mechanical components can slide linearly along the rail. Both the rail and the sliders are precisely machined to ensure accurate lateral alignment during translation along the rail length.
The rail includes multiple M6 countersunk mounting slots for flexible installation on optical tables or breadboards. Imperial and metric scales are engraved on both sides for precise positioning. The sliders feature a snap-in design, allowing installation at any position on the rail without disassembling the system, with multiple slider specifications available. The sliders use wear-resistant POM balls for support and can be secured in place using the included spring-loaded thumb screws.
The LBTEK precision 100 mm dovetail optical rail is used with snap-in dovetail sliders. One end features a Ø6 mm locating pin and the other end a Ø6 mm locating hole, allowing multiple dovetail rails to be connected end-to-end to extend the length. Both metric and imperial graduation marks are provided: metric markings have 1 mm precision with numerical labels every 10 mm, while imperial markings have 1/16 in precision with numerical labels every 0.5 in for precise positioning. The rail includes multiple elongated slots and M6 countersunk holes, enabling flexible mounting on breadboards or optical tables. Standard lengths of 150 mm, 300 mm, 600 mm, and 900 mm are available.
