LBTEK offers two types of Ø6 mm post holders: the Ø6 mm post holder (MPH05-xxBx series) and the Ø6 mm flexible post holder (FPH05-xx series). The difference between them is that the Ø6 mm post holder features an internally threaded knurled aluminum hand-tightened screw and a 360° rotating base, while the Ø6 mm flexible post holder has a 360° rotating flexible clamp with an M8×0.5 threaded bottom, which can be paired with the PRA1 base provided by LBTEK. Both types of post holders have a hollow base that allows the Ø6 mm post to be placed on the optical platform, enabling the maximum adjustment range for the post height. The grooves on the inner walls of the base create a double-line contact with the post to prevent it from sliding.
Additionally, the Ø6 mm post holder offers M3 (MPH05-xxB3 series) and M6 (MPH05-xxB6 series) mounting slot options, while the Ø6 mm flexible post holder's bottom can be used with a mini clamp for secure attachment to a breadboard.
The LBTEK Ø6 mm flexible post holder features a 360° rotatable flexible clamp for easy installation or removal of locking screws when two posts are mounted side by side. The vertical displacement of the post is locked first, and then the rotation of the flexible clamp is locked for precise adjustment after the height is set. Once the locking screws are fully tightened, the flexible clamp can no longer rotate. The base of the post holder also includes a through-hole, allowing the post to fully extend to the bottom of the holder, ensuring that the minimum beam height requirement is met.
