The LBTEK rod holder includes two types: the standard Ø12.7 mm rod holder and the base-style Ø12.7 mm rod holder. The difference between the two is that the standard Ø12.7 mm rod holder (PH-xxA series) has an M6 threaded through hole at the bottom, while the base-style Ø12.7 mm rod holder (PH-xxB series) has an integrated magnetic base at the bottom, which can be fully passed through to meet the minimum beam height requirement. The holder can clamp the standard Ø12.7 mm rod, with grooves on the inner wall forming double-line contact with the rod to prevent slippage and rotation. It is also equipped with a precision spring-loaded knurled M6 hexagonal hand-tightening lock screw. The maximum torque when tightening the screw should be less than 3.2 N·m. A 5 mm hex wrench can be used to reinforce the clamping (Note: excessive torque can cause the locking screw to break, so it is recommended to use an L-shaped hex wrench and gently tighten with the short end). The top has a retractable ball head made of polyacetal material to avoid scratching the rod.
Additionally, the PH-xxA series rod holder has an M6 threaded through hole at the bottom, which can be flexibly paired with a magnetic base (PR-1S) or a non-magnetic base (PR-1A), and can also be used directly with the PB-x series mounting base, or be secured to a breadboard using an M6 screw from inside the rod holder. The PH-xxB series rod holder features a stainless steel base with a powerful magnetic ring embedded at the bottom, which provides strong attraction during positioning. It can also be used with the fixed fork block (PHC-45) to allow flexible installation on the optical platform.
The LBTEK standard Ø12.7 mm rod holder has an ultra-wide square cutout inside, and the double-line contact prevents the optical rod from slipping or rotating. The precision spring-loaded knurled M6 hexagonal hand-tightening lock screw should not exceed a maximum tightening torque of 3.2 N·m (Note: excessive torque can cause the locking screw to break; it is recommended to use an L-shaped hex wrench to gently tighten with the short end). The PH-xxA series rod holder has an M6 threaded through hole at the bottom, which can be flexibly paired with a magnetic base (PR-1S) or a non-magnetic base (PR-1A), or directly used with the PB-x series mounting base, allowing flexible fixation on the optical breadboard, or directly secured with M6 screws.
