SM1 external thread, with SM1NR locking ring
The LBTEK Adjustable Adapter TAD05KF is designed to mount Ø12.7 mm optical components or components with SM05 threads, TAD11KF is for Ø11 mm cylindrical components, and TAD12KF is for Ø12 mm cylindrical components, commonly used for mounting fiber collimators. The first two adjustable collimators offer ±4° pitch/yaw adjustment, while TAD12KF offers ±5° pitch/yaw adjustment. The SM1 external thread of the adapter is compatible with Ø25.4 mm lens tubes or 30 mm coaxial systems. The adapter comes with an SM1NR locking ring.
The two M4×0.25 precision adjuster screws on the front plate control pitch and yaw, adjustable with the included 2.0 mm hex wrench. The front plate is marked with pitch and yaw axis indicators and has two holes for the adjustable wrench OWR-U.
Note: When adjusting the M4 precision adjuster screws, it is recommended to use within the adjustable ±4° range. To prevent the precision adjuster screws from being screwed in too deep and causing detachment from the outer mounting ring, ensure the depth between the outer mounting ring surface and the precision adjuster screw surface is ≤2 mm during adjustment.
