Our damage-resistant ultraviolet (UV) plane mirrors are specifically designed for femtosecond and picosecond laser systems, capable of withstanding extremely high peak intensities while preserving the ultrashort pulse temporal characteristics. Featuring a multi-layer, equal-thickness interference coating design combined with low-dispersion materials, the typical group delay dispersion (GDD) is less than 10 fs², ensuring almost zero pulse broadening before and after the mirror for sub-50 fs pulses, thereby fully preserving the original pulse structure. Meanwhile, the substrate is made of high-purity UV fused silica, with a titanium-doped protective layer introduced into the key coating layers. This provides a laser damage threshold (LIDT) greater than 5 J/cm² (10 ns single pulse) for common UV wavelengths such as 266 nm, 355 nm, and 515 nm, significantly surpassing comparable products and ensuring long-term stable operation under high peak intensities.
Furthermore, this series of mirrors achieves a reflectivity of over 99.8% within the designed wavelength range, with flatness reaching λ/10 (@633 nm) and total scattering loss below 50 ppm. It is suitable for a wide range of precision applications, including precision machining, nonlinear optics, and microscopic imaging, meeting the stringent requirements of both research and industrial environments.
Precautions: For optimal performance, it is recommended to store and use the product in an environment with a temperature of 25°C and a relative humidity of 40%-60%. If the mirror surface becomes contaminated, gently wipe it with alcohol (99% or higher) and lint-free lens cleaning paper. Avoid using rough fabrics, water, or cleaning agents containing abrasive particles to prevent damaging the coating. With its advanced coating structure and precision manufacturing process, this ultrafast mirror is the ideal choice for those seeking maximum performance and reliability.
