Parallel light emitted from a collimated light source enters the transmission/reflection integrating sphere, undergoes multiple diffuse reflections inside, and is finally emitted uniformly from the output port. By detecting the light flux at the output port, the transmittance or reflectance of the sample can be calculated. LBTEK transmission/reflection integrating spheres offer output uniformity better than 0.1%, primarily for measuring materials with strong diffuse scattering. They are suitable for measuring the transmittance/reflectance of smartphone screens, display panels, glass lenses, adhesives, inks, coated optics, and similar samples. The top of the LBTEK integrating sphere has a sampling port with an SMA fiber interface. The bottom of the transmission integrating sphere features 2×M4 and 1×M6 threaded holes, while the bottom of the reflection integrating sphere has 2×M4 threaded holes, allowing installation on free-space setups using optical rods.
