The universal standard integrating sphere features an interior coated with a high-reflectance diffuse material and sampling ports on the sphere wall. When the light source enters the sphere, its light is reflected multiple times off the coated walls, forming a uniform irradiance inside. It can be used to measure parameters such as luminous flux, color temperature, and luminous efficacy of light sources. LBTEK offers universal standard integrating spheres in various sizes, numbers of ports, and diffuse coating materials. For a 3-port integrating sphere, two ports are located at the equator at 0° and 90°, and the third is the north pole port at the top. For a 4-port integrating sphere, the additional port is at 180° (opposite the 0° port), and the size of the 180° port can be customized. All spheres include a baffle located between the 0° and 90° ports to prevent the light source from directly illuminating the detector port. LBTEK universal standard integrating spheres can be equipped with various optical components to meet user customization requirements.
