The LBTEK fiber optic circulator is a three-port non-reciprocal optical device that allows light to propagate in only one direction. It comes with polarization-maintaining fiber, making it suitable for polarization-maintaining optical systems. When a signal enters Port 1, it exits from Port 2; when a signal enters Port 2, it exits from Port 3, all with very low output loss. Conversely, light entering Port 2 and exiting from Port 1 experiences high loss, and similarly, light entering Port 3 and exiting from Ports 1 or 2 also experiences high loss. Fiber optic circulators are widely used in fiber lasers, add-drop multiplexers, bidirectional pumping systems, dispersion compensation devices, fiber sensing, and scientific research applications. LBTEK polarization-maintaining fiber optic circulators are three-port non-reciprocal optical devices that allow light to propagate in only one direction. Currently, they are available in multiple center wavelengths from 1064 nm to 1550 nm, with a maximum power handling of 300 mW.
