A wavelength division multiplexer (WDM) is a passive optical device used to combine or separate two optical signals of different wavelengths. It finds applications in fiber lasers, fiber sensing, fiber communications, and other fields. The LBTEK polarization-maintaining (PM) single-mode WDM is fabricated using dielectric thin-film filter technology, covering center wavelengths from 980 nm to 1550 nm. It is primarily designed for PM fiber optical systems and features high extinction ratio, high channel isolation, and excellent stability and reliability. FC/APC and FC/UPC connector options are available. LBTEK WDMs undergo Telcordia GR-1221-CORE testing, comply with RoHS requirements, and offer various customization options, including different wavelength combinations, bandwidths, fiber lengths, and connector types. The LBTEK PM single-mode WDM is a passive optical device used in PM fiber transmission systems to separate or combine two wavelengths of light. It provides high extinction ratio, low insertion loss, high isolation, and high return loss. All fibers are protected with 900 µm loose-tube coating. Multiple center wavelength combinations from 980 nm to 1550 nm are available, with both FC/UPC and FC/APC connector options.
