A wavelength division multiplexer (WDM) is a passive optical device used to combine or separate two optical signals of different wavelengths. It can be applied in fiber lasers, fiber sensing, fiber amplifiers, and fiber communications. The LBTEK single-mode WDM is fabricated using fused biconical taper (FBT) technology, covering center wavelengths from 488 nm to 2000 nm. It features a wide operational wavelength range, low insertion loss, high channel isolation, and excellent stability and reliability. FC/APC and FC/UPC connector options are available. LBTEK WDMs are rigorously tested according to Telcordia GR-1221-CORE standards, comply with RoHS requirements, and offer various customization options, including different wavelength combinations, bandwidths, fiber lengths, and connector types. For specific customization needs, please contact us.
The LBTEK visible-light single-mode WDM is also fabricated using FBT technology and can combine or separate two optical signals of different wavelengths. It provides low insertion loss, high isolation, and robust environmental stability. The fibers are protected with 900 µm loose tubing, and the device features a compact packaging of Ø3×60 mm.
