The LBTEK 1×2 polarization-maintaining (PM) fiber coupler is fabricated using fused biconical taper (FBT) technology. This design allows the optical signal propagating in the fiber to couple within a specially structured coupling region, distributing the optical power according to a predetermined ratio. LBTEK fiber couplers cover a wavelength range of 405–2000 nm and feature low insertion loss, low excess loss, high return loss, and excellent stability. They are widely used in fiber communications, underwater laser communications, fiber lasers, fiber amplifiers, and other applications.
LBTEK offers various customization options, including different coupling configurations (1×2, 1×4, 2×2, etc.), power ratings, wavelengths, coupling ratios, and connector types.
LBTEK PM fiber couplers are made using Panda-type PM fibers. When light is coupled along the slow axis of the fiber, a high polarization extinction ratio is maintained. These couplers are suitable for all types of PM optical systems, allowing input light to be evenly split and output to two ports with a 50:50 ratio. The couplers provide uniform splitting, low excess loss, high return loss, and stable operation.
The LBTEK polarization-maintaining (PM) fiber coupler is made using Panda-type PM fiber, which allows for the maintenance of a high polarization extinction ratio when light is coupled along the slow axis of the fiber. It is suitable for various PM optical systems, where the input light is split and output to two ports in a 10:90 ratio. The coupler provides uniform splitting, low excess loss, high return loss, and stable operation.

The LBTEK PM fiber coupler, also using Panda-type PM fiber, maintains a high polarization extinction ratio when light is coupled along the fiber's slow axis. It is suitable for PM optical systems where the input light is split in a 25:75 ratio between the two output ports. The coupler provides uniform splitting, low excess loss, high return loss, and stable operation.
