The LBTEK single-mode fiber optic isolator primarily utilizes the Faraday effect of magneto-optic crystals to isolate reflected light, allowing light to only travel in one direction. It is a passive magneto-optic device. Fiber optic isolators are used to prevent the light source from being affected by backward reflection or signals. Backward reflection can damage lasers or cause mode hopping, amplitude variations, or frequency shifts. In high-power applications, backward reflection can also cause instability and power spikes. LBTEK single-mode fiber optic isolators are available with a variety of center wavelengths from 780 nm to 2000 nm and can handle up to 10 W of power. Products with center wavelengths of 840 nm and 960 nm have an ultra-wide bandwidth of 100 nm, making them suitable for SLD (Superluminescent Diode) applications. Each isolator undergoes strict testing and comes with a test report to ensure product performance. The input end of the sleeve is marked with a black marker for easy identification, and the incident direction is also marked on the casing.
