The LSSM1 has dimensions of 200 mm×75 mm, and the LSSM2 has dimensions of 305 mm×75 mm. Both sides feature height graduations with an edge graduation resolution of 5 mm and a center graduation resolution of 1 mm. These shields are used to determine the laser spot height position. The bottom of the shield contains two Ø15×2.5 mm magnets, along with an M6 countersunk hole, allowing for fixation using M6 inner hexagonal cylindrical head screws. They can be mounted on a non-magnetic platform. The entire surface undergoes sandblasting and black anodizing treatment, which is used to block stray, unnecessary beams, creating a uniform scattering surface. Additionally, the base includes a retractable handle for easy lifting of the shield from the magnetic platform.
