The LBTEK Coaxial Arm is mounted on the microscope main stand and positions the optical port at an optical path 196.5 mm from the edge of the vertical guide rail. The coaxial arm provides structural support for user-built optical paths and features a 95 mm dovetail clamp on the back. By tightening two 4 mm hex socket set screws, the arm can be fixed at any location along the linear dovetail surface of the microscope main stand. The CA2 Coaxial Arm has SM2 internal threads and 4 M3 threaded holes for a 60 mm coaxial system. For additional mounting configurations, the 4 M4×6 cylinder head hex screws can be removed, separating the 95 mm dovetail clamp from the plate with the optical port. This 12.7 mm thick plate can be connected to the 25.4 mm thick dovetail clamp, ensuring that the surface of the plate is in the same plane as the top or bottom of the clamp. This flexibility allows the coaxial arm to be mounted in the most space-efficient manner, while keeping the set screws of the dovetail clamp on the same side as the microscope main stand. The included alignment pin ensures proper alignment between the plate and the dovetail.
