LBTEK Polarization-Maintaining Single-Mode Fiber Patch Cables ensure that the polarization direction of the light remains unchanged when transmitting polarized optical signals, improving the coherent signal-to-noise ratio. With low insertion loss, high return loss, and high extinction ratio, these patch cables offer excellent environmental stability. They are the ideal choice for applications in optical communication fields, such as fiber lasers, fiber amplifiers, and fiber optic instruments. The wavelength range is available from 400 nm to 2200 nm, with FC/PC and FC/APC connector types currently available. LBTEK also offers various custom services for polarization-maintaining single-mode fiber patch cables, including fiber length, tube diameter, and operating wavelength. For customization requests, please contact us.
LBTEK Polarization-Maintaining Single-Mode Fiber Patch Cables feature connectors made from high-quality ceramic materials, which are polished to a high standard, ensuring a typical return loss of 50 dB. Each cable is tested under specific wavelength conditions to guarantee low insertion loss and high extinction ratio. The connectors at both ends of the patch cables are equipped with protective caps to prevent dust or other contaminants from damaging the ferrule end faces, ensuring high stability and reliability. For the FC/PC connectors, the protective end cap is white, with black sheathing for visible light wavelength patch cables and red sheathing for infrared wavelength cables. Note: FC/PC and FC/UPC differ only in the polishing method, and both are referred to as FC/PC connectors.
