The micrometer head is mainly used in mechanical motion control products, such as the manual linear translation stages provided by LBTEK. LBTEK offers two specifications of micrometer heads from Mitutoyo: 148-801 and 150-801, corresponding to 13 mm and 25 mm travel, respectively. The micrometer heads feature graduations engraved on the outer sleeve with a precision of 10 μm per division, and a positioning accuracy of ±2 μm. The spherical end of the driver provides single-point contact, minimizing alignment errors.
