LBTEK Reflective Beam Expander uses two silver-coated spherical mirrors, designed with low aberration and optimized to achieve a system wavefront deviation of less than λ/10 (for incident light with a diameter of 1 mm). It can expand (or compress) the diameter of a parallel incident beam to a fixed magnification. The input and output ports of the beam expander have SM05 and SM30 threads, making them compatible with our SM-thread lens tubes. Additionally, the beam expander features four M3 threaded holes, allowing compatibility with our 30mm coaxial system. After the multi-wavelength light is compressed by the reflective beam expander, it can be coupled into the fiber using our reflective collimator.
LBTEK 6x Reflective Beam Expander can expand (or compress) the diameter of a parallel incident beam by a factor of 6. It provides a wavefront deviation of less than λ/10 (for incident light with a diameter of 1 mm). The input and output ports have SM05 and SM30 threads, making them compatible with our SM-thread lens tubes. It also features four M3 threaded holes for compatibility with our 30mm coaxial system. The edges of the beam expander have a ∅7 mm through hole, allowing the expander to be securely fastened to our optical breadboard using M6 screws. After use, be sure to cover and tighten the end caps on both sides to prevent dust from entering and adhering to the mirror surfaces, which could affect the system's performance.
