LBTEK's manual fiber cleaver is suitable for Ø0.25 mm, Ø0.90 mm, and Ø3.0 mm single-core fibers with a cladding diameter of 125 μm. One side of the cleaver includes a fiber scrap box to collect fiber debris after cleaving, preventing injury from sharp fragments and allowing for easy disposal.
During use, place the fiber into the appropriate groove and perform the cleaving operation according to the user manual. If the fiber cannot be cleaved or the cleaved end appears rounded, loosen the blade height adjustment screw and adjust the blade to the proper height before trying again. If a noticeable decline in cleaving quality is observed, loosen the blade pressure screw and adjust the blade position according to the user instructions.
