Tapered End Design Optimized for Industrial Coupling Applications
The LBTEK FSV1 Fiber Clamp is specifically designed for precision alignment and stable mounting of optical fibers during coupling into compact photonic or waveguide devices. Unlike standard fiber holders, which often fail to position the fiber tip close enough to the waveguide input port, the FSV1 features a tapered front-end structure. This allows users to visually align the fiber endface near the waveguide interface for high-precision coupling.
The integrated precision V-groove—made of high-strength zirconia—is compatible with fibers of Ø125 μm to Ø280 μm and Ø150 μm to Ø341 μm. Fibers are held securely using two FSM1 magnetic clamp blocks, which are included and also available for separate purchase. Two M3 mounting screws and a hex wrench are also provided.
