This design ensures that the mounted component remains centered on the support surface. Three angled cylindrical contact points apply a gentle downward force and form a stable three-point contact. One of the contact points is located at the end of a flexible arm, allowing the clamp to adapt to optical components of varying sizes. This makes the mount suitable not only for rectangular fiber arrays but also for various rectangular optical elements.
