The LBTEK high-precision variable beam expander adapter is designed for use with the 1X–3X variable magnification beam expander series. It allows the expander to be securely clamped and mounted to opto-mechanical assemblies such as SM2-threaded adjustment mounts or coaxial mounting plates. The expander is held in place by a side-mounted M2 socket head set screw, which prevents rotation and slippage, ensuring precise alignment with the optical axis. The M2 screw can be adjusted and tightened using a 1.5 mm hex key. A groove structure is integrated into the adapter, allowing rotational adjustment of the adapter’s clamping position on the beam expander. This design prevents obstruction of the magnification scale markings, enabling clear visibility of zoom levels and collimation status.
