LBTEK F-Theta Lens (F-Theta Lens, FT) is a flat-field scanning lens system constructed with high-transmittance optical glass substrates, featuring precision-designed lens groups integrated into a mechanical housing. The lens maintains a focused beam height of f×θ (where θ represents the incident beam angle), ensuring direct proportionality between input and output beam angular velocities. This enables scanning mirrors to operate at constant angular speeds while providing enhanced edge beam detection capability, uniform light distribution on detector surfaces, and effective compensation for field curvature and distortion. The F-Theta lens delivers flat-field image planes while significantly simplifying control circuitry. It exhibits high transmittance, large scanning range, low aberration, and minimal F-Theta distortion. These characteristics make it particularly suitable for medium-to-low power laser microprocessing applications including marking/engraving systems, laser printers, fax machines, printing presses, semiconductor IC laser pattern generators, and precision laser scanning equipment.
LBTEK currently offers standard F-Theta lenses with working wavelengths of 532 nm and 1064 nm, available in focal lengths of 330 mm, 160 mm, and 347 mm. The 532 nm version incorporates a protective output window with high transmittance and is designed for integration with 2D scanning galvanometers and beam expanders. Within its scanning range, it maintains nearly identical spot sizes from center to edge, ensuring uniform energy and resolution distribution on detector surfaces. Featuring an M85×1.0 threaded mount, the product offers direct compatibility with most commercial marking systems without requiring adapters.
